Call for proposals BDFFP/Thomas Lovejoy grants
A new edition of the BDFFP's Thomas Lovejoy Research Supporting Program is open for proposals.
The Program will provide financial and logistical support for graduate students that carry out the fieldwork of their MSc or PhD project at the field units of BDFFP in Manaus (Amazonas, Brazil). The support is only for field-related costs and may cover all or part of the project’s fieldwork expenses.
The graduate research project to which a proposal is related should deal with the effects of Amazonian forest fragmentation and/or nature conservation.
The call for proposals is open to all graduate students from institutions in Brazil and outside Brazil that carry out their research at BDFFP field units.
Proposals must be submitted until 23:59 (11:59 PM, local time in Manaus) of March 31, 2017. Proposals sent after this deadline or with incomplete documentation will not be considered.
Non-Brazilian students must ask for a student visa to be able to develop their studies in Brazil.
For further information, check the attached call for proposals. If you have any question about the selection process, please contact us by e-mail at zeluiscamargo@gmail.com.
